Heal Beautifully with Personalized Care

After Plastic RN is not affiliated with any particular surgeon. Our nurses provide independent post-operative care for patients of various surgeons. Clients hire our nurses directly for recovery services.

The length of service depends on the type of surgery and the patient’s needs. Most patients hire our nurses for four to five days, with many requiring care for up to one week.

Yes, and it is often encouraged. Patients recovering alongside a friend or family member can find comfort in the shared experience, making the recovery process more supportive and reassuring.

This is a common question. Typically, our nurses sleep in a guest bed or on a couch. However, minimal sleep is taken, especially on the first night, to ensure the highest level of care for the patient. The priority is always the patient’s well-being.

Our nurses cover all travel expenses and also bring personal food during the stay.

The cancellation policy aligns with most plastic surgeons’ policies. A 50% deposit is required to secure a spot on the calendar, with the remaining balance due 30 days before surgery. The full cancellation policy is outlined in the service contract.

The contract begins—and service fees start—when our nurse meets the patient face-to-face. This occurs once the surgeon’s nurse determines the patient is stable and safe to go home. At that point, After Plastic RN assumes responsibility for care and advocacy. If surgery schedules shift or delays occur, the patient is not charged for the wait time. Flexibility is prioritized to ensure the best use of the contracted time.

Our nurses coordinate a professional driver to safely transport both you and your nurse home after surgery. This allows your nurse to remain focused on your care, monitoring your comfort and recovery from the moment you leave the surgical facility.
